Features
ANATOMICALLY DESIGNED
The EXOTEC system has been specially designed with the full motions of body movement that comes from riding an off road motorcycle. The chest protector has been designed with flexion form curvature that allows the chest protector to form to the body shape without creating uncomfortable contact points.
Dual mold Biofoam is used where contact to the body is made to greatly improve comfort. This form follows through to the back pack that has a pre-curved articulating pack shield that allows the back pack to constantly follow the changing curvature of a rider in motion. There are three adjustments points on the chest plate and two in the back pack that allow a full range of fine tuning adjustments to be made for different body shapes and sizes.
TOOL FREE ADJUSTABLE PACK - KEEPING IT SIMPLE
We created a simple but effective attachment point that securely attaches the shoulder cups to the back pack without the need to use any tools. This allows for a quick hassle free conversion and adjustment from chest protector to back pack and vice versa.
ALSO A BACK PACK
All EXOTEC protector pack systems come with quick back pack conversion kits that allow them to be easily converted to a back pack only configuration. This means you'll be able to take your Exotec SP-3 with you on all your adventures including, mountain biking, snow boarding, hiking, etc.
ARTICULATED PACK SHIELD
Inserted deep into the back pack is a removable articulating pack shield that provides improved airflow, back pack support and protection.
CONCEALED COMPRESSION SHOCK CORDS
The SP-3 (Sport Pack 3 liter) has concealed compression shock cords to prevent hook up on trees and other objects whilst keeping the load stable. These compression shock cords are hidden away in two side pockets that also act as additional storage compartments.
H20 HOSE LOOP
The H2O hose loop allows for quick easy removal of the Hydration Bladder for care and maintenance. The hose loop can be configured to either the left or right side, according to the riders preference.
VENTED BIOFOAM LUMBER SUPPORT
The lower section of the back pack has been specially designed to reduce the lateral movement of the back pack across the rider's body when going through the rough stuff, by contouring to the rider's lower torso.
SHARK FIN BACK PADDING
Designed to stop the back pack closing off air flow to the riders back, this open design offers maximum comfort while still providing full air circulation; keeping you cool when others aren't.
BACK PACK CONVERSION KIT
A back pack conversion kit comes with every EXOTEC protector pack, adding to its versatility. And you can swap from protector to back pack without tools in just minutes!
QUAD LOAD DISTRIBUTION STRAPS
A very important key to the EXOTEC'S ability to reduce the load effect is by transferring the weight of the back pack to the chest plate. This is achieved by the use of four load bearing points to distribute the load from the back pack to the chest plate. The resultant angles of the top attach point acts as a cantilever to the back pack and stops the chest plate from moving up the torso. Simple but effective!

When we designed the EXOTEC system we only wanted to use the best possible components and the only hydration system that passed our rigorous tests was the SOURCE wide pack hydration system. Super tuff, ever reliable, great flow rate and manufactured to strict international standards.
TOOL ROLL
A unique feature of the EXOTEC SP-3 is that it comes with a tool roll that fits into a specially shaped pocket that keeps tool movement to a minimum. The tool roll features a clear parts pocket and a fold out parts pad to lay your tools and parts on while working. Tools not included.
WATER RESISTANT ZIPS
Consistent with the high quality of the EXOTEC protector pack is the use of YKK zips all-round. On the top area of the pack we have utilized water resistant YKK zips to protect your gear from the elements.
INSULATED HYDRATION CARRIER
Inside the EXOTEC back pack is an insulated pocket for the hydration system to fit snuggly into, keeping your H20 cool and secure on the hottest of days.
